About me!
Hi! I’m Dylan Nester, a sports, music, lifestyle, portrait, scenery and nature photographer
I started my journey in photography after my first semester of college, unsure of what career path to possibly chose, I looked for some interesting electives and found the beginning digital photography class at Sacramento City College, my mother lended me her Canon Rebel T3 and I immediately fell in love with photography and have not looked back since!
Growing up playing sports my whole life, I knew I wanted to stay involved and after finding photography, I knew instantly what I wanted my future to look like. Picking up my camera everyday gives me a great sense of drive, passion and dedication to capture lifelong memories and documenting our crazy world.
Some of my favorite things are baseball, football, video games, spending time in nature, my family and jamming out to music. A lot of my photography journey stems from these passions, but I like to do a little bit of everything and have a photojournalist approach to photography. I love photography because when I look through my viewfinder, everything around me slows down and nothing matters except for what I am documenting. Even when I am capturing action sports, I always find a great sense of peace with my camera. As a kid I never really thought I was the creative type but photography taught me exactly the opposite and I love everything about photography
I don't care for status, likes and recognition. I just hope to spread affection with my photography and provide timeless photos that you can look back on and have a sense of pride
